Ranking System

Ever since I first came up with it, my ranking system has remained relatively unchanged. Not too shabby. Here's a quick run-through. I will place the rank at the very end of each review I do. I go by a 0-5 scale as shown below.

Keep in mind that if I give something a 2 out of 5, that does NOT mean it's a piece of trash. This isn't like the grading system in schools where anything below a 70% is failing. Just throwing that out there.

0/5 or 0 out of 5
POOR.
This is just genuinely, purely awful. It's crap. STAY THE HELL AWAY.
I would never want to hear of it again.

1/5 or 1 out of 5
WEAK.
Avoiding this is preferred. It can be pretty bad or a waste of potential, but it's not the worst thing out there.
I would forget it pretty easily.

2/5 or 2 out of 5
AVERAGE.
Competent in some respects, but I can live without it. It's mediocre. I don't care what you do with it.
This would be hard to review.

3/5 or 3 out of 5
GOOD.
Enjoyable and fun when I'm in the right mood. Competent enough in execution.
Check it out, depending on your cup of tea.

4/5 or 4 out of 5
EXCELLENT.
Very enjoyable. Something definitely worth checking out and possibly buying.
Borrow from a friend or rent a copy if more convenient.

5/5 or 5 out of 5
PERFECT.
A must-buy or a must-check-out at some point.
Highly biased in my favor recommended.

I will place a score from 0 to 5, and then I might add a quick overall note about what I thought. Most ranks will also have a decimal value (such as 3.5 or 4.3) to be more specific on my overall opinion. However, just pay attention if it's closer to a 01234, or 5. Of course, this will be all based on what I think. You might like the type of stuff I review or not. But sometimes something might cross your way and it will catch your attention.

NOTE: The rank system will always be subject to change.
